I write blog posts, articles, profiles, newsletters, annual reports, press releases, brochures, case studies, social media posts, and other print and digital content.

I specialize in topics related to the intersection of people and places–disciplines such as community and regional planning, urban design, sustainable development, land use and conservation, and housing policy.

I’m well-versed in all stages of editing, from project conception through proofreading. I’m fluent in Chicago style and AP style, and experienced working with (and creating) in-house style guides.

One of my specialties is academic book editing. I’ve been responsible for all stages of multi-author book development: helping to conceptualize a manuscript’s focus and framework, editing early drafts for structure and content, copyediting later drafts for clarity and style, and proofreading penultimate drafts for accuracy.

I shepherd books, reports, case studies, and other medium- and long-form content from project planning through publication.

I especially love helping busy organizations define project goals and outline work plans that they can execute on their own or with my help.
